Since 2006 all our products have been certified according to ISO 22000. We are proud of this certification, which serves as confirmation of our quality consciousness.

Our products adhere to the most stringent international quality requirements
ISO 22000 is the international standard for food safety. Orthomol is the first company in Germany to develop and produce dietary foods for special medical purposes and food supplements according to ISO 22000 stipulations. The ISO certification confirms that all Orthomol products fulfill the highest quality and safety standards – from the selection of raw materials through to the finished product.

ISO 22000 includes strict manufacturing controls
Even before our ISO certification, we were the first company in our segment to subject itself to voluntary, regular controlling. The manufacturing of Orthomol products previously adhered to the Danish quality standard HACCP. This was extended in connection with ISO 22000 to include the principles of GHP (Good Hygiene Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). The certification guarantees strict manufacturing controls and motivates us to both safeguard and increase the quality of our products.
